Why Do I CrossFit?
To me, strength, in any capacity, seemed unattainable for some time. But I found myself in this sport. I was not expecting to fall in love with it but setting goals & actually surpassing them is addicting. I initially just wanted to try something new that would help me lose my baby weight. As a new mom, I lost all confidence in my self-image and almost accepted my unfit fate. But over the past 5 months, CrossFit has given me even more mental strength than physical, and increased my self-discipline. The support I get from this community is like nothing I’ve ever known before and a huge part of my growing abilities. Trying to be my best self is why I keep coming back each day.
